Seeds of doubt.
Abstract
The article discusses the United Kingdom (UK) government's plan including converting farmland into sustainable habitats for wildlife; the planting of trees as a justification backed by evidence of the cooling effects of afforestation; and the scheme is not without controversy, as it may lead to monoculture practices that could quicken the UK's biodiversity loss.
