- Title
Young Australian Maronites: Their Identity and Spirituality.
- Authors
Ghosn, Margaret
- Abstract
The article presents a study on the thirty-three young Maronite adults who attended the Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church in Western Sydney. It states that people develop a sense of personal identity through five centres of influence which includes personal needs, national identification, religious heritage, and ambitions. It is inferred that the future of the Maronite ethnic Church depends on the assimilation experiences of Australian-Lebanese Maronites and remains as a viable institution.
