- Abstract
The article focuses on the study regarding the crustal stress in the Northern South China Sea (NSCS). Topics discussed include the development of various stress measurement methods such as hydraulic fracturing in coastal zone, stress observation, and interpretation of Formal Micro-Imager (FMI) logs from oil and gas fields, the various aspects of the conducted in situ stress test, and the calculation of the stress through finite element numerical simulation and viscoelastic model.
