- Abstract
The article discusses 18th century anonymous writings from Piedmont, Italy and the question of the religious doctrine of the Indulgence of Porziuncola, also known as the Pardon of Assisi, associated with the Franciscan order. Topics discussed include the dissemination of theological writing and the works of anonymous authors during the 18th century in Italy, the question of pardon and forgiveness in the Church, and 18th century debate on the Pardon of Assisi.
