- Abstract
The article reports that No Surprises Act (NSA) is a law that is being implemented gradually by the Department of Health and Human Services and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). It mentions that CMS released a Request for Information for the Advanced Explanation of Benefits provision of the NSA to issue advanced estimates of benefits to insured patients scheduled care; and Independent Dispute Resolution process has been implemented by the Texas Medical Association.
