RHETORICAL STRUCTURE AND POETIC VISION: THE FRAME AND TITLE POEMS OF SEGURO AZAR BY PEDRO SALINAS.
- Authors
Garrison, David Lee
- Abstract
The article discusses the structure and poetic artistry of Pedro Salinas' "Seguro azar." The basic theme throughout the collection touches directly upon the creative writing process. The author analyzes three of Salinas' poems, "Fe mía," "Cuartilla," and "Triunfo suyo" which serve to frame and emphasize, in their own distinct manner, the collection's focus on the role of silence in the creative process of poetry.
