- Abstract
Let be a finite sequence of integers, where and with for . A subsequence sum of is the sum of all terms of a nonempty subsequence of . Denoted by the set of all subsequence sums of . In this paper, for given , we give the lower bound for with in terms of and the numbers of positive, negative integers in . We also determine the structure of the finite sequence of integers for which is minimal. This generalizes the results of Mistri, Pandey and Prakash. Moreover, we give a correction to a result of their paper.
