- Title
Rice Team fabricates Stable Three-Dimensional Plasmonic Nanoclusters.
- Abstract
The article reports on a method developed at Rice University to manufacture three-dimensional plasmonic nanoclusters. Andor iKon-M NIR-enhanced CCD camera coupled to a hyperspectral imaging system was used to impart metamaterial optical properties into unstructured substrates such as liquids, glasses and plastics. The researchers found an association between the experimental spectral characterization of 3-D nanoclusters and their theoretical calculations based on finite element analysis.
