Consumers get choosy about pharmacies.
- Abstract
This article provides the results of a survey of conducted by Opinion Research Corp. International on behalf of pharmaceutical services company AmerisourceBergen. Thirty-four percent of respondents stated that convenience is the main concern when choosing a pharmacy. Additional concerns include competitive pricing and staff availability and knowledge. The survey also found a wide acceptance of generic medications, which are viewed to be equally as effective as their brand-name counterparts.
