- Abstract
The article presents a study on the cultivation of seagrape variety, Caulerpa lentillifera, in the Gulf of Mannar. It notes the India will capitalize on seaweed aquaculture as based upon the recommendation by the Food and Agriculture Organization for the expansion of mariculture. However commercial industries are cautious of introducing a non-native species for agriculture due to the bad effect when it commercialized on red algae. Moreover, several comparisons are done among other substrains.
