- Abstract
The article the case of a 12-year-old girl with aquaporin-4 immunoglobulin G antibodies (AQP4IgG)-positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) who presented with three episodes of isolated recurrent myelitis when she was between seven and nine years old. Topics discussed include no further relapses after rituximab was introduced, possible presentation of NMOSD as selective and recurrent spinal cord damage, and importance of AQP4IgG detection in differential diagnosis.
