The article focuses on the different viewpoints of Sundanese Music. It presents the patet theories of the conservatory and Natapradja's manuscript, Karawitan Sunda which gives little information on the patet system of sunda. Moreover, it discusses the explanations of the views of Djunaedi and Natapraja on the patet system of Sunda but still with restrictions of this system. It also presents charts on the following summaries of the slendro patet.
