Title
[B] The Benois Notebooks.
Abstract
The article introduces several series of articles taken from the books of Russian artist Alexandre Benois. Some of the entries will be used by the author Lynn Garafola in her book "Ida Rubinstein," and others by Dance Museum director Erik Näslund for his Benois exhibition in Stockholm. On the other hand, some articles from his book about the Paris Opéra production of Giselle in 1924 had been transcribed by Benois grandson Dimitri Vicheney and translated by author Clement Crisp.
