- Abstract
The article discusses several court cases concerned with the proprietary institutions which receive Title IV funding under the Higher Education Act (HEA). It mentions two employees of a proprietary institution in Missouri filed suit alleging that its officials fraudulently altered student attendance records and grades in an effort to preserve their eligibility for Title IV funds. It also mentions federal trial court granted the Dept. Of Education (DOE's) motion for summary judgment.
