- Abstract
The article proposes to reflect upon the value of Wiwa’s technical-thinking (one of the four indigenous groups that inhabits the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a peripheral mountain system placed in the North of Colombia), in the light of Gilbert Simondon’s concepts of technical object, Yuk Hui’s cosmotechnics, and the anthropological focus of Amazonian Amerindian perspectivism proposed by Eduardo Viveiros de Castro. The analysis shows that this culture sets up as determined to seek and consolidate their own cosmological and cosmogonical stability from an ancestral philosophical perspective or shama zhigui. The topics that constitutes Wiwa’s philosophy may be identified in acts and technical objects such as suzu, shoulder bag made by a woman, and dumburru, poporo formed by a man. The construction, use and relation of these objects in the individual and social levels proclaim a technical integral vision of the powers of planetary nature, the human and the cosmic.
