- Abstract
The focus of this study was to investigate the relationship between the practices of B.Ed. Training Program which prepares these ESL Teachers at secondary school level. The sample size of 150 was taken. Different government girls and boys high schools of Muzaffarabad Division were selected including 80 males and 70 females took part in the research. A Questionnaire consisting of 31 items was distributed among participants. Non Probability convenience sampling was used. Besides checking reliability of the questionnaire study had reported useful descriptive features of data through descriptive analysis. The finding of study include that not only Faulty B.Ed. Training Program is responsible for poor performance of ESL Teachers teaching English at Secondary School Level but there are other factors including trainings given by private colleges, Conventional GTM method, lack of English speaking in classroom, class room settings and environment and conventional examination system for B.Ed. Trainees.
