- Title
Chemistry: Chase acid, solve maze.
- Abstract
The article reports on the study conducted by Bartosz Grzybowski and his team at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois on a system which shows that an acid-seeking chemical blob can move itself through a maze. It states that the team produced the system by adding a droplet of solvent with a surfactant that spread through the liquid's surface. Moreover, the surfactant reacts with the solvent which results to an unequal surface tension.
