Title
Evolution: Arboreal ascent.
Abstract
The article offers information on an arboreal Suminia getmanovi. It mentions that the preliminary description of the specie by Jörg Fröbisch at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois, and Robert Reisz of the University of Toronto at Mississauga in Canada, concludes that S. getmanovi, a 260-million-year-old and a distant relative of mammals is the oldest evidence of a tree-dwelling vertebrate. Comparisons of the fossil with the modern reptiles and mammals are also presented.
