Title
Behaviour: Marmo-what?
Abstract
The article discusses the discovery of evidence regarding the dialects within a species of neotropical primates. Researchers from the University of San Francisco Quito, Ecuador and University of Wisconsin, Madison, recorded vocal patterns of adult pygmy marmosets comprising of 14 groups from distinct geographical locations in Ecuador. The marmosets had distinct structural differences in calls between regions which researchers' hypothesize could be a result of social factors and genetic drift.
