Title
Millennium development holes.
Abstract
The author opines that the world leaders who set the Millennium Development Goals of halving extreme poverty in the developing nations are failing to deliver. The author suggests that the UN report released every year on the progress made towards the goals mask the fact that the quality of most of the underlying data sets is far from adequate. It is also suggested to take action for achieving the goals by 2015 rather than state the lack of reliable information as an excuse for inaction.
