- Abstract
A conference paper regarding the risk-planning procedures for the deep excavation project in the Gulf of Mexico is presented. It discusses the safety process before the project has been conducted including the determination of the wells pressure and the ideal way to remove the hydrocarbons, collapsed caisson, and abandoned wells. It relates the significance of active communication channel, which is a key factor that lead to the success of the team who conducted the excavation.
