- Abstract
The article focuses importance of ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) with a combination of ultraviolet (UV) and fluorescence detection in polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) analysis. It notes that UHPLC may improve productivity and reduce solvent consumption by 90%. Moreover, in the analysis of 19 PAHs, HPLC requires 20 minutes and 25 mL of acetonitrile.
