- Abstract
The article presents on the in vivo and in vitro analysis of the antiviral effects of bovine interferon-τ (boIFN-τ) on bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV). Physical abnormality such as depression was not observed in the cattle during the said experiments. The results demonstrate the anti-BVDV effect of boIFN-τ, in which it reduces the BVDV level in serum upon injection into the persistently infected (PI) cattle.
