- Abstract
Vascular lesion is a common congenital anomaly in children. The International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA) classification vascular lesions are broadly classified in to vascular tumors (infantile hemangioma) and vascular malformations. Lower limb affection by Infantile hemangioma is seen in only 3%. Ulcerated infantile hemangioma is often painful; they sometime spread very fast like wild fire and destroy affected tissue. Treatment of ulcerated hemangioma is either pharmacological, surgical or laser. The present article reports a case of rapidly increasing infantile hemangioma of lower limb where ulceration was controlled and treated by Limited Access Dressing (LAD) and split skin grafting under LAD in one and half month time .
