- Abstract
Monitoring of pharmaceutical compounds in biological samples is a crucial approach considering the human health. An amplified sensors based on synergic catalytic effect of CdO/SWCNTs nanocomposite and 1,3-dipropylimidazolium bromide (1,3-DPBr) was designed and used for sensing of promazine in the real samples. The catalytic effect of CdO/SWCNTs and 1,3-DPBr at surface of paste electrode creating a powerful tool for monitoring of promazine in a concentration range of 3.0 nM–220 µM and with a detection limit 0.9 nM acquired by differential pulse voltammetry technique. The oxidation current of promazine was boosted at surface of CdO/SWCNTs/1,3-DPBr/PE about 5.0 fold compared to the unmodified sensor. Recovery data (98.25–102.86%) revealed the superior performance of CdO/SWCNTs/1,3-DPBr/PE for sensing of promazine in the injection and water samples.
