- Abstract
The National Policies of Food and Nutrition Security (2010) and of Agroecology and Organic Production (2012) are public strategies that propose to rediscuss food systems promoting the supply of healthy food, as well as the sustainable use of natural resources. This work is the result of an ongoing research, and its locus is the Amazon region, specifically Roraima. Located in the extreme north of the country and being a young state, it has ethnic, socioeconomic, geographic, and environmental peculiarities. The main objective is to investigate its interlocutors' perceptions of FNS and Agroecology, through the narratives in dispute and in the decision-making power of the multiple inter-institutional relationships in Roraima. The research presents a qualitative approach and is carried out through a literature review and interviews with interlocutors linked to these agendas. The work will be presented, mainly, in two stages, the first being a survey of the conjunctural scenario of FNS and Agroecology in Brazil, and the second addressing the issues raised with the interlocutors from Roraima.
