- Abstract
The article discusses the effects of setting behavioral objectives on the teaching of business communication. For teachers to make effective use of behavioral objectives, they must have the ability to: determine whether a statement of an objective identifies the behavior to be demonstrated by the student; identify whether a statement indicates a standard or criterion of acceptable performance; prepare good behavioral objectives for a business communication course; more accurately pre-assess and evaluate students through the use of the behavioral objectives.
