The article discusses the teaching of Georgia authors Flannery O'Connor and Alice Walker in an honors first-year multimodal composition class at Georgia Tech in 2017. Topics discussed include several activities done by the students including creating podcasts and visual design projects and the use of multimodal communication for the university's Writing and Communication Program.
