- Title
Demonic Authority of the Autonomous Self in O'Connor and Dostoevsky.
- Authors
Hooten, Jessica Lynice
- Abstract
An essay is presented on the presence of demonic authority portrayed by the characters in the works of Flannery O'Connor and Fyodor Dostoevsky. It offers proofs of psychological insanity, uneducated beliefs, and nonliteral figure of speech of demonic activity for selfish desires. It explores the rivalry between the divine and the demons and the intimate connection to a person's option to represent. It adds that their stories were intended for those who do not believe in the devil.
