- Title
A COMPLETENESS RESULT FOR FIXED-POINT ALGEBRAS.
- Authors
Montagna, Franco
- Abstract
The article discusses the concept of the fixed-point algebra (FPA). It states that the theory was introduced by mathematician C. Smoryński in which it constitutes large equational class. It explains the equation and solution of the slight variants of FPAs such as the Explicit Fixed-Point Algebras (EFPAs) to determine the full Lindenbaum FPA of a strong theory. However, the equation fails to hold in the Lindenbaum FPA of any strong theory.
