- Abstract
The article focuses on the renewed effort of the government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) to stimulate economic development and to secure the sustainable use of its resources and natural environment. Topics covered include relations between FSM and the U.S. over the Joint Economic Management Committee (JEMCO) decisions, economic benefits from its tuna stocks and the decision of President Peter M. Christian to join other nations in signing the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
