- Abstract
The article considers the unpublished 1971 manuscript diary entitled "Objeto gritante: Monólogo com a vida" (Loud Object: A Monologue with Life) by Clarice Lispector, from the archive at the Casa de Rui Barbosa in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Topics include a consideration regarding the literary value of diaries as autobiographies, the literary theories of philosophers Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault, and the fragmentary nature of the work's writings.
