- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to compare the excavation damage zones (EDZ) leading from blasting with electronic detonators and with nonel detonators. It states that various methods such as displacement measurements, direct observation using borehole cameras, and geophysical methods are utilized in the study to examine the characteristics of the EDZ. Result shows that the fractures in the rock mass around the tunnel led to an unsuccessful ultrasonic wave measurement for the hole.
