- Abstract
Introdução: O trauma dentário representa um grande desafio no dia a dia clínico do cirurgiãodentista, podendo acarretar em fratura de elementos dentários. Em casos em que o fragmento dental fraturado se encontra em um bom estado de conservação, podemos tomar mão da técnica de colagem de fragmento dental. Objetivo: Relatar um caso clínico de traumatismo dentário, no qual foi realizado um tratamento de colagem de fragmento dental. Conduta Clínica: Paciente do sexo feminino, 11 anos, compareceu ao Departamento de Odontologia da UFRN após acidente doméstico, causando a fratura do elemento 22. O fragmento foi preservado em um recipiente à seco, o que causou desidratação e leve alteração de cor no mesmo. Após exame clínico e radiográfico, observou-se que a linha de fratura se estendia ao nível da papila gengiva e que havia uma pequena fenda, resultante da perda de esmalte, na linha de fratura pela face vestibular. Também foi diagnosticado que não havia fratura radicular e exposição pulpar. O tratamento foi realizado sob isolamento relativo e utilizando a técnica da matriz palatina direta com silicona, onde o fragmento foi posicionado no local de fratura e fixado com barreira gengival para a confecção da guia palatina e incisal. Optou-se pela utilização do fio retrator #000 no sulco gengival e sistema adesivo no remanescente coronário e no fragmento dental do tipo convencional de 2 passos: condicionamento ácido em esmalte e dentina e duas camadas do adesivo 3M Adper Single Bond 2. Foi aplicado uma camada de resina flow no remanescente coronário e o fragmento foi posicionado na guia de silicona para colagem, removeu-se os excessos com um pincel e o conjunto adesivo + resina flow foi fotopolimerizado. Resultados: Após a aplicação da resina flow a fenda que existia na face vestibular foi totalmente selada e o fragmento apresentou ótima adaptação. Conclusão: O tratamento empregado demonstrou ser uma alternativa conservadora e de fácil execução, devolvendo estética e função a dentes que sofreram fratura coronária.
