- Abstract
The article presents a study which explores the Trojan origins and the use of the Aenid and related sources in the Old Icelandic Brut. The author in this study refers to a very brief Aenas section in the Icelandic compilation AM 764 4 to which also contains a partial translation of Geoffrey of Monmouth. This study also seeks to show how the four mentioned variants are connected and draws on similar sources.
