- Abstract
The article focuses the plant Abrus precatorius of Leguminosae family, in India, as of August 2015. It states morphological characteristics of the plant like seed coat and flowers with multiple colors and mentions role of intraspecific trait variability in creating the morphological characteristics. It cites use of the plant's seed in Ayurveda and notes significance of survival of the plant in biological diversity and balance of ecosystems.
