- Title
Nano-agriculture - carbon nanotubes enhance tomato seed germination and plant growth.

- Abstract
The article presents the study conducted by M. Khodakovskaya and colleagues which showed that carbon nanotubes (CNTs) could influence seed germination and growth of plants. The study involved tomato seeds which were placed on standard agar Murashige and Skoog medium (MS medium) with varying multi-walled CNTs concentrations. Results revealed that tomato plants exposed to CNTs acquired an increase in biomass, well-grown stems, and germinated up to two times faster compared to control seeds.
