- Abstract
The article focuses on the assessment of a lung cancer patient's response to chemotherapy and radiation, through various tomographic techniques. It states that with the help of Fluorodeoxyglucose-Positron-Emission Tomography (FDG-PET) and computed tomography (CT), presence of adenocarcinoma was diagnosed and the tumor reduced in size two months after treatment. It further states that after eight months of treatment no tumor recurrence was observed.
