- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a study on workplace aggression experienced by clinical medical practitioners in Australia. The research was conducted between March 2010 and June 2011 during the third wave of the "Medicine in Australia: Balancing Employment and Life" (MABEL) survey. The results suggest that around 38,000 medical clinicians would have experienced verbal or written aggression and about 18,000 would have experienced physical aggression in 12 months.
