- Title
ISNA Marks 30 Years of Approval of Continuing Education.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the Indiana State Nurses Association (ISNA) continuing nursing education approval program. It began with a statewide plan developed in 1972 through a grant from the U.S. Public Health Service and implemented during 1973 to 1976 through a grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. On December 1, 2006, the ISNA revised its criteria for approval. Changes include the use of the 60-minute contact hour implementation of the Standards for Disclosure and Commercial Support.
