The article offers the author's insights on the detective stories of the French Author Didier Daeninckx and their relativity to history. The author cites that Daeninckx is a practitioner of historical realism, which is related to social realism that unveils underlying oppression in hidden histories of those influential people. He notes that Daeninckx is aimed at creating fiction where people can entertain his hypotheses on the fate of the past in the present.
