- Abstract
The article discusses the unethical behaviors and copyright infringement in the virtual community Second Life, developed by Linden Labs. An overview of the Second Life virtual community and the Generation Virtual, as well as its implications to society and daily life of people is presented. Ethical issues and the different scenarios that surrounds Second Life such as exploitations; ethics, values and practices in virtual social groups; vandalism and harassment; identity issues; and virtual crimes are discussed.
