- Abstract
Changes in the formulation of new information policies in the public sector are analysed in this article. These policies are going to provide new tools to the citizens for the public information processing and dissemination. It is said that a qualitative jump has been made from the TIC model based on the access to another role in which the citizen is going to participate in the design of contents, in their reapplication and in the decisions making. Thus, the Policies of Information in the immediate present are going to be designed having a constant contact with the citizens. All this is going to take us to develop a more open, honest and efficient public services system. The initiatives of the Government and the Open Parliament are being developed in many countries of our environment and are a very effective sample of the citizen participation in the information processing, by elaborating visualization tools that facilitate the consultation and reapplication of that participation. The initiatives of the Government and the Open Parliament are highlighted as a sample of the citizen's participation. The detected main cases are showed, emphasizing on Spain's need to continue with popular character initiatives managed as an institution.
