- Title
On a Markov-Modulated Shock and Wear Process.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article presents a study on the transient and symptomatic reliability indices for a single-unit system which incurred degradation due to environment-induced wear and occurring shocks. It describes a mathematical model for a single-unit system which accumulates degradation from wear and shock whose arrival rates were modulated by the Markov process. It presents the transient distribution and lifetime moments of the single-unit system as described in the form of Laplace- Stieltjes transforms.
