- Abstract
The article focuses on the research "The effect of dexmedetomidine on propofol injection pain" by Jeong Han Lee and others. It discusses the efficacy of dexmedetomidine in reducing pain and hemodynamic changes during propofol injection. It concludes that the blood pressure increasing effect of dexmedetomidine can be a counterbalance to the blood pressure decreasing effect of propofol and mixture of both can be used to reduce injection pain while controlling hemodynamic changes.
