The article argues against the actual existence of fictional individuals. Particular focus is given to the metaphysical argument of creationism in fiction, which postulates the existence of fictional individuals who are created by their authors. The classification of fictional characters as abstract or theoretical entities is explored. The author argues that fictionality necessitates the non-existence of fictional characters.
