- Abstract
Heavy oil reservoir development investment is large, with high risks, especially under the eurrent situation of low international oil price. The development of small edge water heavy oil reservoir is facing economic and technical difficulties. In order to complete the production task of small edge water heavy oil reservoirs with low input, realize the positive cash flow of overseas projects, and carry out the research on the influencing factors of edge water inrush in heavy oil reservoirs, we take overseas oilfield R as an example to make full use of the natural energy of the reservoir and realize the goal of low investment and high profit in overseas reservoir development. Based on the actual production data of the reservoir, the characteristics of edge water propulsion in the reservoir are understood by combining the dynamic and static processes. Through the study, it is considered that optimizing the daily production of a single well can effectively control the edge water advance form, reduce the water flooded degree of oil wells, and realize the efficient development of heavy oil edge water reservoir. It is an effective measure to maintain stable production of overseas heavy oil reservoir under the; condition of low international oil price.
