- Abstract
Intelligent inspection is an important part of equipment intelligent maintenance in hydropower plants. To achieve intelligent inspection, it is a key scientific issue to determine the theoretical failure period of different equipment. The life distribution of equipment system has certain scientific laws and the theoretical equipment fault cycle determined by this law is an important basis for determining the inspection cycle. This article assumed a constant failure rate for the same equipment system. The life index distribution model was used to describe the relationship (reliability function) between equipment system reliability and reliable life (theoretical equipment failure period).The relationship between the hydroelectric generating set and its subsystem faults was described by means of establishing and using the equipment system fault tree. Based on the results of statistical simulation test method to simulate the occurrence of subsystem faults, the key parameters of the index distribution reliability function were obtained. The reliability function could be used to obtain the expected reliable life of different reliability requirements, which could provide an important basis for determining the theoretical failure period of hydroelectric generating set.
