- Abstract
Objective: To analyze the scientific productions related to nursing care in the treatment of oncological wounds in women with breast cancer. Method: This is an integrative literature review, carried out from December to April 2022. Searches were carried out in all databases contained in the Virtual Health Library: (LILACS) Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, (MEDLINE) International Health Science Literature, Cochrane Library, (BDENF) Nursing Database and (SciELO) Scientific Electronic Library Online. The descriptors were determined from the tools (DeCS) Descriptors in Health Sciences. The following filters were selected: language, including only publications in Portuguese and Spanish, with a temporal cut of publications in the last ten years (2012 to 2022). Results: 3 studies were selected that highlighted the importance of the correct use of the dressings indicated for each stage of the injury, according to their characteristics and also point out the lack of scientific knowledge in the management of injuries by nurses in the selected studies. Final considerations: There is a need to implement clinical management protocols in the care of these patients with oncological wounds. With the purpose of providing a greater experience for these professionals of the ideal care and, above all, to make them aware of the importance of the records of the nursing process during the assistance provided.
