- Authors
Vitullo, Elizabeth; Jones, Elizabeth A.
- Abstract
The article discusses the assessment by business schools of learning goals through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in the U.S. The need for contents of learning experiences provided by programs to be current and relevant to needs of business and management positions is suggested by the AACSB. Some schools used the add-on measures of the Major Field Test through the Educational Testing Service (ETS) even as majority used direct measures of learning. The involvement of indirect measures in a comprehensive system of assurance of learning is tackled by the AACSB.
